White roof, white stripes, white spoiler, white mirror caps on a red car - can you guess what I call it? Here is a hint
Did I ever mention how much I love these wheels??

Looks pretty boss. I was following a nice Abarth this morning.

I try to wash my cars at least once per calendar year, even if they do not need it.

Everytime someone posts one, I want one. Then I remember that I already have 3 impractical cars.

It’s a very practical car!! We just went to Costco with it, we are buying booze and Indian food right now, it’s very chilly tonight and my seat heaters and leather seats are awesome... I mean, you can’t go to IKEA and bring a house worth of furniture, but the fan factor in a daily makes up.

I washed this baby 3 times in last 2 weeks :). Thai love affair won’t last long though. It’s always the same for me when I get a new car.

We do need the rain. Smoke from the fire was horrible yesterday and it almost burned down Shambala Center.
Guess what? I love washing this car anyway, so it’s not a chore :). If Toad gets dirty, Toad gets a bath.

I rented one in Scotland (595 Competizione). It actually fit 3 people comfortably but probably not more cargo space than the F-Type or Miata.

I really think of it as a two seater with ample space in the trunk. I’m actually thinking of buying the rear seat delete kit.
How was the 595?? I have some 595 Competizione badges, door handles and gear knob on the way, can’t wait for them to arrive!

I thought it was great. I pinched a nerve in my neck reaching for the seatbelt, but still would option those Sabelt seats 10 times out of 10. I thought the gearshift was really good - I never missed a shift. Not sure if it’s different than the 500 Abarth. Engine performance was good - it’s a very quick car , but redline came too soon and the US Abarth has a better exhaust note. I could hardly hear the 595 C omp but I think that’s due to UK regulati on.
It would be absolutely lost on open sweepers, but on a fun 2nd gear road with switchbacks, it was great. It’s a B-road car, for sure.

Idk what it is about these things. I like them. They are like M ario Kart race cars to me.

Those Sabelts are porn... 2500 euros plus shipping and I could get a pair, but I presume that my fat ass wouldn’t be comfortable in them.
In UK, I think you have to pay for Record Monza exhaust if you want to hear it.
Europe has so many more color options and special editions, plus the car has actually been updated since the release. In US, we got the new stereo for 2015, but rest of the car is virtually unchanged. I guess we did get a special color every year. I really wanted to get the Celeste Blue, but the Abarth market in USA is pathetic and tracking down a manual, low mileage Celeste Blue with options I wanted proved impossible.

One of the reasons mine is called Toad :)
It is impossible not to like this car after you drive it. It’s like an English Bulldog puppy playing tug of war and being tough. Regular 500 doesn’t do much for me, but changing the parts to make it an Abarth - raspy exhaust, backfire, awesome wheels, cool seats, and the willingness and desire to be driven hard - it just makes for a very special car.
